Note: Via the 2020 Census is how funding for communities such as City of Cleveland Ward 1 are determined. It is important that every household is counted. Please complete your 2020 Census Application.

Dollars are distributed to Cities and Neighborhoods based upon total population and household counts.
For example, if your community is counted for a total population of 12,000, then your community will receive dollars/resources based upon 12,000 people.
This becomes a severe disparity when the population is actually 20,000....which means that 8,000 people were not counted via the census.
We encourage you to please complete your 2020 census application. It is truly is important.
